These 24 hours cycle has role in hormonal secretion and behavior especially in sleep- wake and temperature. Disturbances in this cycle cause jet lag. After transmeridian flight, internal clock is desynchronized from external environment and it takes several days to readjust to the new external time cues. It has symptoms like confusion, insomnia and lack of concentration. There are many ways to reduce these symptoms like phototherapy, diet, hydrotherapy and hormontherapy.
