All mammals have behavior and physiologic cycles that is regulated base on genetic and supra kiasmatic nucleuses. These 24 hours cycle has role in hormonal secretion and behavior especially in sleep- wake and temperature. Disturbances in this cycle cause jet lag. This happens in travel across multiple time zones. After transmeridian flight, internal clock is desynchronized from external environment and it takes several days to readjust to the new external time cues. It has symptoms like confusion, insomnia and lack of concentration. There are many ways to reduce these symptoms like phototherapy, diet, hydrotherapy and hormontherapy. There is no effective way to reduce this. This article is a research in aviation medicine site.
