Materials and methods: This is a pre experimental study whose case and control groups are the same. This study has been done to investigate the effect of implementation of partnership Care Modle on the quality of life of the chemical victims suffering from COPD in Sasan hospital in Tehran. A physician confirmed COPD and the ability of self-care for patients. Results: we studied 60 patients aging between 30 and 54. Care problems and quality of life in groups were assessed with SF-36 questionnaire and a designed questionnaire. In the final evaluation for determination of the effect of intervention on signs and sequelae of disease and measuring quality of life, these variables were assessed again. After implementation of a model the data were analyzed using SPSS. P>0.05 obtained from paired t test revealed significant difference between quality of life before and after intervention in physical components including physical function, role limitation, physical and somatic pain. Investigation of quality of life in emotional component includes: emotional health, role Imitation emotional and social function with paired t test showed significant difference before and after intervention as the same (P>0.05). Similarly, measurement of total quality of life showed that this variable has increased from 29.7 to 34.3 and paired t test showed significant difference. (P>0.05) Conclusion: Data analysis confirmed the hypothesis of this study. Certainly, implementation of this model in reality with better facilities and adequate time will show considerable results in use of drugs pattern and will reduce sequelae of disease like pulmonary infections, improvement of activities and will finally improve pulmonary function.
